Coverage Report is operated by Carbon Spark Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We provide a SaaS platform that generates PR coverage reports for communications professionals.

Account information — your name, email address, and company name, provided when you register
Payment information — processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your card details
Usage data — reports generated, credits used, features accessed, and interaction timestamps
Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and referring URL

3. How we use your data

We use your data to:

Provide and maintain the Coverage Report service, including generating your reports
Process credit purchases and manage your account
Send transactional emails such as purchase confirmations and account notifications

Coverage Report uses a minimal number of cookies:

Session cookies — essential for keeping you logged in while you use the platform; these expire when you close your browser or after a period of inactivity
Stripe cookies — set by our payment processor during checkout to enable secure payment processing and fraud prevention

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

We retain your account data and report history for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records (such as payment transaction records for tax and accounting purposes).

Your data is hosted on servers located in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany). We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.
